Youth Court

It is a model court being conducted by the commerce department since 2003 without break. The purpose and objective to conduct the youth court is to stimulate social responsibility among the students.

Youth court is conducted with regard to socio legal aspects. The participants are only the students. Script will be given to them and they will be trained in tune with their characters.

The first and foremost aim is that the students have to know what is happening in our day-to-day social life. Youth court is nothing but a reflection of events in the society. The students will know their legal right and social responsibility and also educate the others. Ever since 2003 Youth Court has been conducted focusing the women’s right, dowry harassment, marital dispute, bribe etc in the society in order to know how to overcome them. Once a student acted as judge in the Youth Court which had become the turning point in her life to persue legal studies. This is one of the inputs of the youth court.

Respected college secretary, the principal faculty of commerce department are lending their full support to conduct the youth court. The students are also very eager to participate in the event. This is possible only because the audience who indeed admire and appreciate the enactment.
